Philosophy Statement

Krys’ Family Child Care welcomes children of all abilities by providing a wide variety of learning opportunities, teaching empathy, and creating an inclusive classroom. My role as an educator is to provide a safe and nurturing environment while providing activities that all children can explore and engage in of any ability and to encourage physical, social, cognitive and language development. I believe that children learn through play and exploration. I also believe in cultural diversity and will celebrate each child’s uniqueness, language, culture or background through repetition, story time, or songs. My program will work with parents and professionals to meet the interests of each child by including materials and activities that the children show an interest in exploring.
